Frequently asked questions

RELATED TO REGISTRATION AND DATA UPDATES:

I received the pre-registration email. Does that mean I’m already registered on the platform?
You must click on the pre-registration link you received (which is valid for 48 hours) and complete all the forms shown to you in order to formalize your registration. When you can see the “User Dashboard,” you’ll be officially registered.

I’ve completed all the forms, but I don’t see the “User Dashboard.”
Make sure you don’t have any unanswered questions. If you completed all the forms, before showing the Dashboard, the system will ask how often you wish to receive emails related to your schedule management. You must select whether you want to receive an email for each request, acceptance/rejection, or appointment time change, or if you prefer to receive a single daily summary email with all your schedule activity. Click the “Save” button and you’ll be able to view the User Dashboard.

I’m an exporter. What should I do to add more products?
You can upload up to eight (8) products. If you haven’t reached that limit, go to the “Participation Data” menu, under the title “Company Data Management,” click on “Modify offered products and/or services.” At the end of the last uploaded product, you’ll find a button with a “plus” sign; click it and a new space will open to add another product. Repeat this process until you’ve added all your products, then click the “Save” button.

I want to register another person from my team. What should I do?
A maximum of two people per company can participate. As the main participant, you can register a second participant by going to the “Participation Data” menu, under the title “Participant Management,” clicking on “Register another participant,” completing the form, and clicking “Save.” The second participant will receive an email with access credentials. Once the company is accepted, you’ll be able to share schedule management with this second participant.

RELATED TO MEETING SCHEDULING:

I’ve completed my registration, but I don’t see the option to start scheduling meetings.
You must wait for the event acceptance email. Once your company’s status changes to “Accepted,” the “Schedules and Meetings” menu will be enabled. Also, the meeting scheduling period must be open—this can be checked in the date schedule found under “General Information >> About the matchmaking forum”

I’ve received the acceptance email, but when I go to the “Schedules and Meetings” menu, it says it’s closed. When can I start scheduling?
You must wait for the meeting scheduling period to open. You can check this date in the schedule under “General Information >> About the matchmaking forum”

Where can I see the meeting requests I’ve received so I can respond?
Go to the “Schedules and Meetings” menu, then click on “Manage Schedule.” A calendar will appear displaying your scheduled meetings. Those that are still waiting for your response will appear in light green.

Where can I find step-by-step instructions to schedule meetings?
Go to the “Support” menu and select “Video Tutorial.” There you’ll find one tutorial explaining how to request meetings and another showing how to respond to received meeting requests.

I want to respond to a meeting request I received, but the “Respond to Request” button doesn’t appear as shown in the tutorial.
Check the meeting scheduling closing date in the schedule under “General Information >> About the matchmaking forum” If the date is already closed, you won’t be able to manage new meetings or respond to pending requests. If the date is still open, submit a support form to verify your specific case.

We’ve been accepted, and according to the schedule, scheduling is open, but I don’t see the “Schedules and Meetings” menu shown in the tutorial.
First, verify that you’re the main participant (the system automatically assigns the schedule to the first registered participant). If you are, submit a support form to validate your case. If you’re the second participant, ask the main participant to share the schedule with you. They can do this from the “User Dashboard” by checking the box next to your name.

I can view and manage the schedule, but I don’t receive any emails when meetings are accepted or rejected.
First, verify that you’re the main participant (the schedule is assigned by default to the first registered participant). If you are, submit a support form to validate your case. If you’re the second participant, you won’t receive schedule management emails, as those are only sent to the participant who has the assigned schedule.

Are the meetings virtual or in-person?
The meetings are in-person.

Is it possible to separate the schedule for the two registered participants?
The logistics of the business round allow only one shared schedule per company, where both participants can access the same calendar.

I received an email with a meeting request, but I don’t see it in my schedule to accept it.
Check if the meeting request email indicates that it’s on the waitlist. Meetings go to the waitlist when there are no common available time slots between the two companies. Once an opening becomes available, the meeting will automatically move up so you can respond to it.
